Ranieri refuses to take charge of Spartak Moscow

The former AS Roma head coach Claudio Raneri has refused the offer from Spartak Moscow management to become the new head coach of the «red and whites», according to Romagiallorossa.it.

As reported by Sport-Express, the Moscow-based club and the 59-year-old Italian have failed to agree about the salary amount, as Spartak considered Ranieri’s requirements to be excessive.

The head coach postition at Spartak became vacant after Valery Karpin’s resignation on April 18.
