Vladimir Bystrov: Don’t believe rumours of my exit from Zenit
Zenit St. Petersburg winger Vladimir Bystrov vehemently denied the rumours that he is close to leaving the Russian champions because of a rift with it’s managers.
«I got a knock in the Benfica game and pulled my ligaments, so I had to miss a week of training. There is no more pain, so I can resume training with the rest of the team.»
«The internet is ripe with speculations that you are on the verge of leaving the Russian champions…»
«It’s just the typical tabloid nonsense that some people fall for. I can assure you that I had no thoughts of leaving – I am very happy here, so talking about other clubs is utterly ridiculous,» the Russian midfielder told Sport-Express.
Earlier Zenit boss Luciano Spalletti also issued a denial of the report, saying that Bystrov missed the match due to an injury.
