Anzhi may be chasing Pablo Aimar

In addition to the Italian midfielder Gennaro Gattuso who has already confirmed the receipt of an offer from the capital of Dagestan, Anzhi Makhachkala are reportedly interested in Argentinian midfielder Pablo Aimar currently playing for Benfica Lisbon.

According to Sport-Express, the 31-year-old player has reacted favourably to the offer from Russia and the probability of his move to Anzhi is very high. The owner of Makhachkala club Suleiman Kerimov is said to be a long-time admirer of Aimar’s playing style.
