Reports: Sneijder admits he turned down «hefty» offer from Zenit

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder admitted he was the subject of interest for Zenit St. Petersburg, but decided to turn down the Russian champions.

«Zenit were ready to go far in order to tempt me over to Russia. Their offer was substantial, but it just wasn’t the right time for me to leave Inter,» the Dutch international told the newspaper Voetbal International.
