Ruud Gullit’s future in Terek Grozny is in doubt

Terek Grozny president Ramzan Kadyrov and vice-president Bulat Chagaev will discuss the prospects of the club’s head coach Ruud Gullit in the near future, according to Izvestia.

Terek are currently 14th in the Russian Premier League with just 8 points from 9 games.

However, today Terek vice-president Khaidar Alkhanov has declared that the management of Grozny club does not intend to sack Gullit.

«The information that Ramzan Kadyrov should discuss the future of the Dutch coach with the club’s management is not true. The president decides by himself whether to dismiss or not to dismiss Gullit. However, I can tell you that our head coach still has our trust and it will continue his work without any troubles,» stated Alkhanov according to Sport-Express.

In case of contract cancellation the Dutch trainer should be paid a penalty fee. According to Izvestia, Gullit’s annual salary at Terek makes about €4 million a year.
