Anzhi terminate contract with coach Yury Krasnozhan

Sports.ru can exclusively reveal that Anzhi Makhachkala decided to terminate their contract with head coach Yury Krasnozhan.

However, speaking to Sports.ru, the club’s vice-president German Chistyakov denied the reports about Krasnozhan’s sacking, but admitted there were some changes made at the club.

«Our executive director Alan Soziev has left the club. The deal with him was terminated by mutual consent,» Chistyakov insisted.

The former Lokomotiv coach was appointed as manager of Anzhi on December 27 last year. The team has not played a single official match under his rule.

Earlier this week Fabio Capello resigned from his position as England manager. The Italian has on previous occasions been linked with the managerial position at Anzhi.
