Anzhi target Even Hovland signs for Molde

Sogndal defender Even Hovland, who had been previously linked with Anzhi Makhachkala, has opted for a move to another Norwegian side, Molde.

«Career is more important than money. I’ll have a chance to make money later,» said Hovland as quoted by TV2 Sporten.

Anzhi were reported to offer EURO 1.5 million to Sogndal for Hovland, twice as Molde offered for him.

According to TV 2 Sporten, in Russia the defender would have earned around €1 million per year and €3.2 million in total for three years, plus bonuses.
