Eto’O to pass medical examination for Anzhi tomorrow, transfer may be announced tonight

Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto’O is expected to pass his medical examination tomorrow in order to complete the move to Anzhi Makhachkala.

Speaking to Sports.ru correspondent Denis Bystrov, Eto’O’s agent Claudio Vigorelli confirmed the reports that the agreement between Anzhi and Inter about the player’s transfer had been reached and that the Cameroonian will officially become an Anzhi player tomorrow after his medical examination is complete.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Eto’O should undergo the medical at a clinic in Rome at 9 a.m. CET. It’s worth noting that the Cameroonian’s medical examinations were already postponed twice.

He also denied the reports alleging that Eto’O will live separately from the rest of the team. «All the reports information about some special conditions provided by Samuel’s contract that were published today in the media – that he will allegedly not live together with the team and so on – are just someone’s silly fabrication», Vigorelli said.

According to the information available to Sports.ru, the transfer amount will make €21 million. The official announcement of the move is expected to take place tonight.
