Pole-jumper Isinbaeva sets new indoor world-record of 5.01 meters

Russian Olympic champion and world-record holder Elena Isinbaeva smashed another record at a competition in Stockholm – the women’s indoor pole-jumping.

Isinbaeva cleared the 5.01m mark, breaking her own previous best of 5 meters exactly, which she set in Donetsk in 2009. She also holds the current world outdoor record of 5,06m, set in Zurich, also in 2009.
