Katusha sign 11 cyclists in offseason

Russian cycling team Katusha signed contracts with 11 new cyclists in the offseason.

«By signing the contract with Spain’s Oscar Freire Katusha almost completed its transfer campaign for the new season. As a result, eleven new sportsmen joined our ranks, three of whom are Russians,» reads the statement on the team’s official website.

Katusha’s new signings are: Maxim Belkov, Timofey Kritsky, Alex Tsatevich (all – Russia), Gatis Smukulis (Latvia), Oscar Freire, Xavier Florencio, Angel Visioso (all – Spain), Alexander Kristoff (Norway), Mark Holler (Austria), Rudiger Zelig (Germany), Simon Spilak (Slovenia).
