Dmitry Medvedev promotes badminton for schools, plays with Vladimir Putin on camera

Russian president Dmitry Medvedev featured in the introduction to an educational film made by the Russian Badminton Federation and aimed at promotion of the sport. The three-minute video was published in Medvedev’s official blog and features him with a badminton racket, as he tells about the benefits of badminton, and then playing against Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin.

Gradual introduction of badminton in Russian schools as a compulsory part of physical education lessons should begin next year.
