During its training tour in Great Britain, the final one before the World Cup, the Russian team will play one more test match – against England’s Gloucester on August 26. The first test match of the tour ended with Russia’s defeat 19:54 (12:26) at the hands of Northampton Saints, the second – with a defeat by the Newport Dragons (40:12).
