Roberto Carlos: If there is a chance, Anzhi will try to get Messi

Anzhi Makhachkala’s veteran defender Roberto Carlos insists his future lies with the Russian team and shared some insight into club owner’s Suleiman Kerimov financial might.

«I see myself here at Anzhi in the future. The club’s owner Kerimov has shown me a lot of trust and I don’t want to lose that. I will do what I can to make this club compete at the highest level.

«For Kerimov there are no obstacles. If there is a slightest chance of buying Leo Messi, or someone like him, he will do it. He has enough money for it,» the Brazilian legend told Spanish newspaper Marca.
