Valentin Piseev: Cinquanta promised to do all in his power to admit Plushenko

The Russian Figure Skating Federation general director Valentin Piseev has announced that the International Skating Union head Ottavio Cinquanta is ready to consider the admission of Evgeni Plushenko to the 2012 European Championship in Sheffield.

«We’ve already spoken to the ISU president. He understood our position and asked us to write a letter of request. So we have already done that. Cinquanta promised to do all in his power to admit Plushenko to the European Champonship,» said Piseev as quoted by Izvestia.
