Kotschnew, Barinka, Daniel Tjärnqvist and Lehterä set to leave KHL’s Lokomotiv Yaroslavl

According to Yaroslavski Sport, the management of KHL’s powerhouse Lokomotiv Yaroslavl decided to release goalkeeper Dmitrij Kotschnew, defenders Michal Barinka and Daniel Tjärnkvist, as well as forward Alexander Korolyuk. The club is also considering possible termination of contracts with Alexey Vasiliev, Sergey Zhukov, and Alexander Guskov.

As we reported yesterday, Finnish forward Jori Lehterä will be also leaving the club despite one year left on the contract, as well as another forward Alexey Mikhnov.

Lokomotiv has recently failed to qualify to the finals of KHL Gagarin Cup, losing in a six-game series to Atlant Mytishchi.
