Dan Petrescu: We couldn’t convert our chances against CSKA
Kuban Krasnodar head coach Dan Peterescu commented on his team’s draw against CSKA Moscow on Saturday.
«Why did you concede the opening goal?»
«It’s football: someone scores, someone concedes. CSKA hardly had any opportunities, but they scored. We had several, but didn’t convert them.»
«You made CSKA look like a substandard team in the first half…»
«Are you saying they looked better in the second?»
«And in the second, too.»
«I guess if CSKA looked below par, that means my players did their job. We were the better side, but it wasn’t enough to get the three points,» the former Chelsea defender concluded.
