Sergei Fedorov extends contract with Metallurg Magnitogorsk

Renown Russian forward Sergei Fedorov has renewed his contract with the KHL’s Metallurg Magnitogorsk for one year, according to the club’s official website.

Earlier it was reported that CSKA Moscow – the club where Fedorov has been playing at the beginning of his career – intended to offer him a contract.

During the past season the 41-year-old forward has played 48 matches scoring 7 goals and making 16 assists. His record in the play-off games included 12 (5+7) points in 20 matches.
