Yevgeny Malkin: If I’m free I’ll play at the World Championships

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Yevgeny Malkin has indicated that he would like to take part in the 2012 World Hockey Championships.

«I haven’t reached my usual level yet. I haven’t recovered my speed. The leg gets tired by the end of each game. It’s good that I have no pains, but I’m feeling tired. Still, my knee injury was a nasty one.»

«As for the World Championships, if I’m free, I’ll play there. I’ve been out for too long and I’m hungry for miss hockey,» Malkin said as quoted by Sport-Express.
