CSKA reserve goalie brushes aside Ronaldo threat ahead of the Madrid clash
CSKA Moscow reserve goalkeeper Sergey Chepchugov claims he is not concerned about the threat posed by Cristiano Ronaldo, as the Russian club prepares to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League 1/8 final second leg.
«Three days to go till the game, are you nervous?»
«No! I am in a good mood, we are working hard.»
«The whole world is in awe of Ronaldo and his shooting. Did you get a sense of his ability, is he really that special?»
«I wouldn’t say so. After all, it was he who left the pitch in disappointment, not me.»
«People don’t know much about you personally, even in Russia. What were your childhood aspirations?’
«I always dreamed of playing in Italy, they have a great goalkeeping tradition there. And to play for our national team, of course,» Chepchugov told Sport-Express.
