Rubin’s Carlos Eduardo expected to miss 3-4 months with knee injury relapse

Rubin Kazan midfielder Carlos Eduardo is set to return to Brazil because of an injury.

The player felt pain in the same knee that he had had surgery on earlier. Scanning showed that Eduardo will have to face further surgery on that knee. The Brazilian missed last year due to the injury.

«Carlos felt some discomfort in training. I asked the managers of Rubin to let my client go to Brazil in order to undergo a knee surgery at the clinic that is affiliated with Gremio. He is expected to miss 3-4 months,» Jorge Machado, the player’s agent, said as quoted by Terra.
