Lokomotiv Moscow deny interest in Cologne’s Lukas Podolski

Olga Smorodskaya, president of Lokomotiv Moscow, commented on the information about the alleged interest of the Russian club to Cologne forward Lucas Podolski.

«It’s ridiculous, nothing more. We are not trying to sign Podolski. We do have our transfer goals, but there is certainly no point inviting a famous footballer. They should write we’re taking Messi,» Smorodskaya said to Sovetsky sport.

This season Podolski played 11 games in the Bundesliga and scored 9 goals.
