Seydou Doumbia: We are currently negotiating a new contract with CSKA

CSKA Moscow star Seydou Doumbia admitted he is currently in negotiations with CSKA Moscow over extending his current deal with the club.

«Yes, we are in talks over a new deal at the moment,» the Ivorian admitted.

«As for interest from other clubs, that’s just rumours. For me to leave CSKA, it has to be an offer suitable for CSKA financially and for me it has to be challenging. The money is not a priority. The English Premier League? We, Africans, are big fans of English football. I have a lot of friends and compatriots playing over there,» Doumbia told his official website.

Since his arrival to Moscow Doumbia has netted an incredible 29 goals in 41 game, attracting interest from some top European clubs.
