Russian giants tussle for Cagliari striker Davide Astori

Anzhi Makhachkala a looking to intercept Spartak Moscow target Davide Astori by offering Seria A side Cagliari 15 million in exchange for the defender, Datasport claims.

Meanwhile, the Italian side’s chief Massimo Cellino also hinted that a deal was on the cards.

«We received an offer for the player, it’s a solid price. While before players would leave us for another club for an extra 100 thousand, now we are talking about millions. We can’t refuse to sell players, it’s our source of income. But I am proud and grateful to them,» Cellino revealed.
