Pavel Pogrebnyak hopes to make his Fulham debut against Stoke

Fulham’s new signing Pavel Pogrebnyak insists he is ready to make his debut in a Fulham shirt on Saturday against Stoke, if the manager decides to play him.

«As we lined up before our training, Martin Jol introduced me to the rest of the squad and we got to work straight away. Everything happened really fast: there is very little time before our next match. Will I play on Saturday? I hope so, and I would love to, but ultimately it’s up to the coach. My job is to just keep training hard. And we will know if I am playing a couple of hours before the game starts,» the Russian striker told Sport-Express.
