Kuban Krasnodar will sign Guimaraes midfielder Rui Miguel

The 27-year-old midfielder of Vitoria Guimaraes Rui Miguel Rodrigues is close to a move to Russian club Kuban. The Portuguese player is expected to arrive to Krasnodar to sign a three-year contract with his new club, according to A Bola.

The amount of transfer will make about €1m. The Russian club reportedly became interested in Rui Miguel back in February. Last season Rui Miguel took part in 21 matches of the Portuguese championship and scored three goals.

«In Russia there is a good championship, however I can’t tell anything more because I am still a Vitoria Guimaraes player.

«I think that the transfer may take place, but until all the papers are signed, it’s impossible to say I am a player of Kuban,» Rui Miguel said to A Bola.
