Ak Bars Kazan terminate agreement with Marcel Hossa

Ak Bars Kazan have terminated the contract with Slovak forward Marcel Hossa. The agreement was cancelled by mutual consent of the parties, the official website of Ak Bars reported.

Last season Hossa played 51 matches of the KHL regular championship for Ak Bars, scoring 31 (16+15) points. His record in the Gagarin Cup play-offs includes 3 (2+1) points in 8 matches.

Before moving to Kazan, Hossa has been playing for Dinamo Riga, where he was one of the team’s leaders during the 2009-10 season.

During the 2011 World Championship there have appeard reports claiming that Hossa Jr. might join Atlant Mytishchi.
