Zenit – Spartak and Lokomotiv – Anzhi games rescheduled due to Euro 2012 qualifier
The Russian Football Premier League has rescheduled two games of its Matchday 11 upon the Russian FA’s request. Zenit – Spartak and Lokomotiv – Anzhi games have been brought forward from Monday, May 30, to Sunday, May 29.
According to Sports.ru reporter Anton Kruglov, the FA asked to change the date of the games because of the Russian national team’s Euro 2012 qualifying match against Armenia on June 4. Thus, the players of the national team representing the clubs involved will have more time to prepare for the qualifier.
