Sp. Lisbon’s Alberto Zapater officially joins Lokomotiv Moscow

Lokomotiv president Olga Smorodskaya has confirmed the transfer of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Alberto Zapater to the Moscow-based club.

«It is our fourth signing of a foreign player this summer. But I have to admit that the agreement with Sapaterom became the easiest of them.»

When asked if the club’s transfer campaign was already finished, Smorodskaya refused to draw the line. «I wouldn’t put it that way. The work is going on,» she said to Sovetsky Sport.

According to earlier reports, Zapater will sign a five-years contract with Lokomotiv.
