Russian national hockey team for Norway friendlies announced

The coaching staff of the Russian national team has announced the names of the players called up for the next round of the Euro Hockey Challenge. The games against Norway will be played in St. Petersburg on April 16 and 17, according to the official website of the Russian Hockey Federation.

Defenders Denis Bodrov and Vyacheslav Buravchikov have left the team, being replaced by Metallurg Magnitogorsk trio of Alexey Kaigorodov, Vitaly Atyushov, and Yevgeny Biryukov.

Goaltenders: Vasily Koshechkin, Yevgeny Nabokov, Ivan Kasutin.

Defenders: Ilya Nikulin, Yakov Rylov, Konstantin Korneyev, Alexey Yemelin, Denis Grebeshkov, Nikolay Belov, Vitaly Atyushov, Yevgeny Biryukov.

Forwards: Denis Parshin, Konstantin Gorovikov, Vadim Shipachyov, Yevgeny Artyukhin, Artemy Panarin, Maxim Rybin, Vladimir Tarasenko, Alexey Morozov, Danis Zaripov, Maxim Afinogenov, Alexey Tereshchenko, Alexey Kaigorodov.
