Anatoly Tymoschuk: I’ve had close negotiations with Russian clubs

Bayern Munich anchorman Anatoly Tymoschuk hinted that he may be set for a return to Russia this summer after having talks with numerous RPL outfits.

«I did have offers from several RPL clubs this summer, though I don’t want to name them. We had in-depth talks, but I won’t reveal the details. I am open to all offers. Naturally, I wouldn’t return to a country that I didn’t like, but I have very fond memories of Russia – of the great team spirit at Zenit as well as the incredible support in Saint-Petersburg. I like the Russian people and the Russian league, so I wouldn’t mind going back there,» Tymoschuk said, speaking to PROsport.

Earlier the Ukrainian midfielder’s agent revealed that his client’s 1+1 year deal was automatically extended by one year, but the former Zenit player will consider his options at the end of the season.

Anzhi and Zenit are believed to be among the interested parties vying for the Bayern star.
