«I was stunned by the quality of football displayed by the Russian sides. If in Portugal, where I played before, there are around 4-5 top clubs, the Russian league has around eight teams competing for top places. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Russian players’ technique and ability. It is definitely a very entertaining competition,» the 26-year-old claimed in an interview to Bobsoccer.ru.
