Marco Amelia denies offer from Spartak Moscow despite agent’s claims

AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia has indicated that he knows nothing about alleged offers from Spartak Moscow.

«Neither Spartak nor any other Russian club has made an offer for me. I was on the verge of signing for Spartak in 2007. More than that, I almost made it. If not for the last-gasp interference by the president of Livorno, I would have moved to the Russian Premier League,» the 29-year-old keeper said as quoted by RIA Novosti.

Earlier Amelia’s agent Carlo Pallavicino revealed that Spartak had already made an offer for his client.
