Russian-born player trains with Real Madrid main team

Real Madrid have recently returned from their USA tour and have held their the first training session at their ground at Valdebebas.

The team will be leaving for Germany tomorrow where Real will play against Hertha Berlin. Among those who took part in the training were the players of Real’s ‘academy club’ Real Castilla Nacho Fernandez, Casado, Jese, Joselu, Omar, and the Russian-born Denis Cheryshev, the club’s official site reported.

Denis Cheryshev is the son of former Russia national team and Sporting Gijon player Dmitri Cheryshev. Born in 1990 in Nizhny Novgorod, he holds Spanish citizenship, but has already made his debut for the Russia U-21 national team (though, in friendly matches only).
