Chelsea’s Yury Zhirkov chased by Dynamo Moscow

Dynamo Moscow intend to reach agreement with Chelsea on the transfer of the Russian national team midfielder Yury Zhirkov during the summer transfer window.

Representatives of the White-and-Blues are reported to have already met Zhirkov in Kaliningrad, where he was spending his holiday, according to Sovetsky Sport.

Dynamo executive director Roman Dyakov did not confirm the reports about the 27-year-old Russian, but also did not deny them. «Dynamo won’t comment on any transfer issues until July 15, when the team returns from its training camps to Moscow,» said Dyakov to Sovetsky Sport.

It is expected that the issue will depend a lot on the opinion of Chelsea new head coach, Andre Villas-Boas.
