Zenit make offer for Sunderland’s Asamoah Gyan

English Premier League club Sunderland have received an offer from Zenit St. Peterburg concerning the transfer of their Ghanaian forward Asamoah Gyan, according to the Guardian.

«I can’t say if he is staying or not. As far as I know, one club has tabled an offer. He is returning to the club for pre-season and we will sit down with the coach to talk about it,» Gyan’s agent, Fabien Piveteau, stated.

Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in Gyan and had already made an offer offering the Spurs forward Peter Crouch as a part of the deal.
