Проблема как раз таки с этим и связана
At Red Bull the same happened in the qualification for the GP Hungary. The difference from one side to the other was 40 kilograms. As a result, the rain tires have heated up differently and Red Bull crashed on the grid for the 7th and 12th places.
The tires are most affected by such a blatant imbalance. Therefore, the Mercedes engineers assume that the tire failure at the GP USA comes to a large extent from the faulty balance. "There’s never a reason for a specific problem, but that was the most serious in logic."Between qualification and race , however, was a major repair. On both engines , the water pumps were exchanged Sunday morning.
For this, the entire rear end had to be disassembled. It can happen that the vehicles were not assembled exactly as they were. Since the repairs took place under Parc fermé conditions, the car was then no longer allowed to weigh and the error was corrected. That would have meant a setup change."
