Gogniev case inquiry finds no evidence of criminal behaviour in the Grozny stadium
An investigation by the Russian authorities has found that no crime was committed during an incident in Grozny, when Krasnodar’s reserve player Spartak Gogniev was allegedly attacked by a group of unidentified people in November’s match against Terek’s reserve team.
The inquire was conducted on request of the Professional Footballers Union of Russia, but the investigating team found no evidence that the player was harmed during the match, so criminal proceeding will not be initiated.
