Zenit and Stuttgart interested in signing Uzbekistan U-17 forward

Zenit St. Peterburg and VfB Stuttgart have reportedly become interested in Timur Hakimov, 16-year-old forward of Uzbekistan U-17 national team and Pakhtakor Tashkent.

Scouts of these clubs had paid their attention to Hakimov during the U-17 World Cup recently held in Mexico, a source in Uzbekistan Football Federation revealed to REGNUM news agency. According to this source, representatives of Zenit and Stuttgart haven’t made any official proposals on Hakimov yet, but have asked to be provided with CDs featuring his matches.

At the U-17 World Cup, Hakimov took part in 5 matches, scoring three goals.
