WBA Heavyweight champ Povetkin defends title against Huck

Russian WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin successfully defended his title in a in a difficult match against WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck.

Povetkin won through a twelve-round majority decision with scores of 114-114, 116-113 and 116-112 in his favour.

After securing the victory, Povetkin admitted he underestimated his opponent.

«The opponent was tough, I underestimate him, or maybe overrated myself. If he is keen on a rematch, I wouldn’t mind,» the Russian fighter told a German TV channel.
