Sergey Kharitonov will fight Josh Barnett on September 10 in USA

The official website of Strikeforce reported that the heavyweight semifinal fight of the Grand Prix between the Russian Sergey Kharitonov and Josh Barnett from the United States will take place on September 10 in Cincinnati (USA).

Meanwhile, there is still no official information, whether the second semifinal bout of the Grand Prix between the Brazilian Antonio Silva and the American Daniel Cormier will take place on the same evening.

Strikeforce champion Alister Overeem previously had to take part against Silva, but he refused to fight in September instead of October or November and was excluded from the tournament by its organizers.
