Russia win Euro Hockey Tour with two games left to play

Having beaten Sweden (4:2) in the first match of the Czech Hockey Games relocated to Malmo, Russian national team has become the winner of the 2010-11 Euro Hockey Tour.

The Russians have secured themselves the first place in the overall standings with two matches left to play. Sweden has also secured itself the second place.

This is the fifth Russian win in the Euro Hockey Tour since its establishement in 1996. Finland has the most, seven triumphs in the tournament, while the Swedes have won it twice, and the Czechs only once.
