Probable reasons of Yaroslavl plane crash: technical failure or poor quality of fuel

A technical failure or poor quality of fuel near Yaroslavl are believed to be the most likely causes of the Yak-42 plane crash for now.

According to a source in Russian aircraft industry cited by RIA Novosti, one of those factors most probably didn’t let the plane ascend from the runway to the required height as it should. Due to this, the Ya-42 with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl team on board hit the airport beacon and crashed.
