Bookmakers believe SKA and Salavat Yulaev are favorites to win 2012 Gagarin Cup

According to William Hill bookmakers, SKA St. Petersburg and Salavat Yulaev Ufa are the favorites to win the KHL’s Gagarin Cup in 2012, the odds for their victory being equal at 4.5.

Next come Ak Bars (bookmakers’ odds – 6), Metallurg Magnitogorsk (8), Avangard (9), and Lokomotiv (11), Atlant (16), Dynamo Moscow (21) and CSKA (26). It’s worth noting that the 10th place is taken by the league’s debutants Lev Poprad (41).

Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Avtomobilist, and Vityaz, have the least chances for the Gagarin Cup according to William Hill, the odds for their victory making 501.

Meanwhile, Russian bookmakers BetCity consider Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Ak Bars, and SKA to be the favorites. The odds for their victory are 4. Next come Salavat Yulaev (6.5), Avangard (7), and Lokomotiv (7), Traktor (15), Atlant (15), Dynamo Moscow (15) and CSKA (20). Vityaz, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, and Amur (150) share the places from 21 to 23, while the absolute outsiders in their BetCity’s opinion are Avtomobilist (500).

Bwin believe the main favorite are SKA (3.5), followed by Salavat Yulaev (5), Ak Bars (5.5), Lokomotiv (7), Avangard (8) and Metallurg Mg (8). Vityaz, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, and Amur (300) are all together in penultimate place, while Automobilist are the last (500).
