Johan Fransson leaves SKA, returns to Lulea
Swedish defender Johan Fransson has officially left the KHL club SKA St. Petersburg and returned to the Elitserien’s Lulea HF.
Yesterday the Russian team officially announced on their website that Fransson’s contract was terminated at the player’s initiative. Today the Swedish club also officially confirmed the signing of a contract with Fransson.
The 26-year-old Swede joined SKA last October under a one-season contract. Before that he has been playing for Lulea and tried to establish himself at the Los Angeles Kings who own the NHL transfer rights to the defender.
