Media: The sacking of Krasnozhan and Soziev came after a row with Anzhi leaders Eto’o and Carlos

According to Radio Sport, the confirmed sacking of Anzhi Makhachkala executive director Alan Soziev and the imminent parting of ways with boss Yury Krasnozhan was the result of a conflict with the team’s leading players.

The website’s sources claim Samuel Eto’o, Roberto Carlos, Mubarak Bussufa and Joao Carlos were unhappy with the training regime introduced by Krasnozhan and his staff.

Earlier the club’s vice-president confirmed that Soziev was leaving the club and admitted that the board will be meeting Krasnozhan on Monday, allegedly to make a decision about his future at the club.

Meanwhile, Russian newspaper Sovetsky sport claims that Krasnozhan will be offered the position of vice-president at the Dagestani club. His assistant Andrey Gordeev will allegedly assume control of the team until a new manager is appointed.
