HEAD OF THE IOC IN UZBEKISTAN

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach took part in the Olympic Day celebrations in Tashkent this week, joined by the ANOC and OCA President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah.
Joining youngsters and athletes at the event organized by the Uzbekistan NOC and the Uzbekistan Culture and Sport Ministry at the Olympic Museum in Tashkent, the IOC President and the ANOC President saw demonstrations of Fencing, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Archery, as well as traditional Uzbek national sport Kurash.
