Craig MacTavish arrives to St. Petersburg, may become new coach of SKA
Former Team Canada and Edmonton head coach Craig MacTavish arrived to St. Petersburg yesterday, according to Sport-Express.
52-year-old Canadian is expected to have talks with the club’s management concerning his employment as head coach of KHL’s SKA St. Peteresburg. Yesterday he was present at Team Russia’s training session, as it was preparing for Euro Hockey Challenge games against Norway. MacTavish refused to answer any questions and left the place after 20 minutes in SKA’s car.
