Malkin: Only the best take part in NHL All-Star Game, it is an honour for me

Pittsburg’s Russian forward Yevgeny Malkin says he is very proud to be part of the All-Star line-up in the Sunday’s eagerly awaited game.

«Everybody knows that since I was injured [last season] I missed many games. It was important for me to deserve this spot on the All Star roster,» Malkin told NHL.com. «Only the best players in the world are chosen to be here, and for me it is very prestigious to get in this group.»

«I can express myself more freely in English now, and I am more confident in my game, so that makes things more comfortable for me. Also, I now know a lot of players who will be joining me on ice, and not just the Russians.»
