Niclas Bergfors to leave Ak Bars

Ak Bars Kazan and Sweden forward Niclas Bergfors is on the verge of parting ways with the club, Hockeysverige reports.

«It looks like I won’t play for the club anymore. Everything was quite good despite the fact that I tallied a few points only. They haven’t appreciated my performances and I should accept it,» Bergfors admitted.

However, Peter Werner, the agent of the player, has indicated that there is still a possibility his client will stay with the Russian club.

This season the forward made 8 appearances for Ak Bars, making one assist.
