Dan Petrescu said to be candidate for Chelsea manager position

Current head coach of Kuban Krasnodar Dan Petrescu is reportedly on the candidates’ list for the Chelsea manager position after the dismissal of Carlo Anchelotti, according to Sport-Express.

During his career as a player Petrescu has spent five years at Stamford Bridge, having played 151 games for the Blues and having scored 17 goals.

As a coach Petrescu won the Romanian league with Unirea Urziceni in 2009 and secured promotion into the Russian Premier League for Kuban in 2010, where his team is now third after 10 games.
